505 TEXTILES provides textile development, consulting, and small scale TEXTILE production services.
505 TEXTILES started in 2016 as a sister project of the Textile Arts Center by Isa Rodrigues. Specializing in handmade textiles, we offer services in weaving, natural dyeing, surface design, and consultancy on materials and preventive conservation. Our studio practice is rooted in the research of traditional textile techniques and materials, creative problem solving and experimentation.
At 505 Textiles, we work closely with our clients to translate their vision into textile work, fostering creative dialogue throughout all the steps of the project. We believe in the power of education and collaboration and encourage our clients to visit the studio regularly to follow their project's progress and learn about the potential of each of the textile techniques.
